The opposite of an emotional wall is a stewardship boundary. Emotional walls are built to defend your “little self” (EGO). Stewardship boundaries are created to honor your free will to choose what you will do and what you will not settle for. Emotional walls are focused on others (“You need to…). Stewardship boundaries are focused inward on your authentic self (“I will…”).
